Chessmate FAQ ♟️
❓ What is Chessmate?
Chessmate is a new way to play chess online. It’s not just about winning or losing—it’s about competing, climbing leaderboards, earning coins & gems, and unlocking real-world rewards while you sharpen your game.
❓ How do Coins & Gems work?
Coins: You need them to play games. You can earn coins by winning matches, completing challenges, or watching ads. If you run out, you can buy more.
Gems: These are special. You only earn them in ranked online matches against real players. Gems can be redeemed in the Gem Store for vouchers, discounts, and other cool rewards.
❓ What game modes are available?
We’ve got three:
Ranked Online – Play real players, climb the leaderboard, earn gems.
Private Match – Share a room code, play with friends. No rewards, just bragging rights.
AI Campaign – Face increasingly tough AI opponents. Use coins to play, win coins back.
❓ How do leaderboards work?
Weekly Leaderboards: Reset every week. Top players win gems and exciting prizes.
All-Time Leaderboards: Track your lifetime ranking and show off your long-term grind.
❓ Do I have to pay to play?
Nope. Chessmate is free to play. You can earn coins and gems just by playing. That said, if you want to skip the grind, you can always top-up coins. Gems, however, must be earned through ranked matches.
❓ Can I really get real-world rewards?
Yes! The Gem Store offers vouchers and discounts for popular platforms like Amazon, Myntra, and more. Play well, climb the ranks, and your chess skills could literally pay off.
❓ I’m new to chess. Is this for me?
Absolutely. The AI Campaign mode is perfect for beginners—it starts easy and gradually gets tougher. You’ll learn while you play. And who knows? You might even start winning online ranked games sooner than you think.
❓ How do I track my progress?
Your profile keeps all your stats in one place—games played, win rate, leaderboard rank, and rewards earned. Basically, your personal brag sheet.
❓ What makes Chessmate different from other chess apps?
Most chess apps stop at the game. We’ve added competition, rewards, and community to make it addictive (in a good way). Chessmate makes every move matter—not just on the board, but off it too.
❓ Where can I play Chessmate?
Chessmate is available on [Google Play Store] (iOS coming soon). Download, sign up, and start your journey.
